Voice Over contract for Sony
Robbie Allen Has finally completed three days of voiceover work for Sony USA. Robbie Allen, based in the UK, has been a vocal impressionist and style vocalist since he was fourteen. He has been delighted to perform voice over’s for an automated system in the US for electronics giant Sony. When asked Robbie Said “how odd is this, some of the voiceovers had just one word” “It was quite challenging because they wanted specific styles which took ages to get right”. “I am glad it was all done in the uk”. “it was then all transferred to the US via broadband for mixing and effects”, “By the time they finish I will probably sound like a robot”. “They wouldn’t tell me what they were doing with the voiceovers, however some of the words gave it away, like warp, heading and system, screams computer games”. “However I have learnt not to ask to many questions”. “Having done this for years I just take the money and I run”. Robbie will now concentrate his time on his summer season for P&O cruise ships. He will be performing on the Ventura and the brand new Azura. With a brand new show he has created just for these two ships it’s called 3D© and Robbie has spent six months preparing it.
